Spanish Language

Spanish – Español- is a Romance language that is the official language in 20 countries. Except for Spain, it is spoken in Latin America including North, Central America and Caribbean Islands. As Spain has colonized different parts of words during the 16th century, these colonized communities were influenced to learn Spanish and accept it as their first language by time. After Chinese, it is the second most commonly spoken language today. Spanish has originated in the region, Castile. That’s why Spanish is sometimes named as Castilian. Spanish contains thousands of Latin words, also some Arabic, because of the interaction with Muslim during Muslim conquest in the 8th century.
