French Language

French is a Roman language that was originated in France. Similar to other Roman languages, French was also originated from Vulgar Latin of Roman Empire. 29 countries accepted French as their official language, and it is spoken as the first language in France, Quebec provinces in Canada, Brussels in Belgium, Switzerland and Monaco today. Estimations define French as the second most taught foreign language within the European Union and sixth most spoken language in the world. It is written with 26 letters and Latin script. Most similar languages like French are Italian, Romanian, Spanish and Portuguese.
